Crisis among the Censors – The Hindu Editorial

I was waiting for an article from the Hindu on this issue, I was thinking they guys would take the side of Leela Samson. But, we are in for a surprise, I am glad, they have written what is apt to the situation and what is right.
This gives me another reason to stay back with Hindu newspaper and not look for other options.

I pity Leela Samson; Rajvardhan Singh Rathore’s sharp reply much akin to his sharp shooting has put water on her efforts and hopes to politicize the issue. I strongly doubt if it was done on the directions of her previous bosses. Otherwise, what qualifications did she have to be a head of CBFC (a Quasi-judicial body to certify films), if not for having been dance teacher of Ms. Priyanka Gandhi. Now that she’s free, she can continue teaching Rahul Gandhi some dance. 😀
